Chevron – Richmond

Lampson Transi-Lift LTL-2600 configured with 340′ boom and 160′ jib placed a reactor and regenerator replacement as part of a major refinery upgrade during a 70-day shut down window. The regenerator lift was 950,000 pounds and reactor lift was 550,000 pounds. The biggest challenge of the project was assembly/disassembly of the boom and jib over a H2S flare line 40 feet above the ground. This lift required two M2250s and one M999, all at 85% capacity.
