In 2024, Lampson International was contracted for an hourly project at a Pacific Northwest port using a Manitowoc 16000 (450-ton) crane. The project involved offloading 16 large modules transported from Canada and preparing them for barge transport to their final destination.

Project Highlights

  • Crane Used: Manitowoc 16000 (450-ton capacity)
  • Module Sizes: 30–65 tons, up to 24’ wide and 80’ long
  • Rigging: Multiple rigging changes using up to 7 spreader bars
  • Marine Operations: Units offloaded to ground and loaded onto a barge
  • Safety Measures: Lashing procedures with chain, binders, and 440 welded lugs on the barge
