The Chevron refinery in Richmond, CA required a reactor and regenerator replacement as part of a major refinery upgrade during a 70-day shut down. This was a good project for the Lampson Transi-Lift 2600.  The regenerator lift was 950,000 pounds and the reactor lift was 550,000 pounds.  The biggest challenge of this project was assembly/disassembly of the 340 boom and 160 jib over a H2S flare line 40 feet above the ground.  This lift required two additional 2250s and one 999 all at 85% capacity.
