Taohuajiang Nuclear Power Company (China 2011)

In September of 2009, Lampson International signed a contract with the China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation to build a Lampson Transi-Lift® LTL-2600B for the Taohuajiang Nuclear Project in China. In October, 2009 Lampson began the manufacturing process for the Taohuajiang Transi-Lift® LTL-2600B. The LTL-2600B was purchased by CNEIC for client Taohuajiang Nuclear Power Company, LTD. located in Hunan Province, China. In December of 2010, members of the Taohuajiang Nuclear Power Company, LTD team travelled to the Lampson Pasco facility to receive training on the new crane. In January of 2011, the crane was dismantled and will be shipped to China in early March of 2011. The Transi-Lift® will be used in the construction of 4 Westinghouse AP1000 Nuclear Power Plants at the Hunan site. The Taohuajiang Transi-Lift® LTL-2600B is the second Transi-Lift® sold to China to support its nuclear power plant construction. The first unit was sold to Sanmen Nuclear Power Company Limited in 2007. The Transi-Lift® LTL-2600B was chosen by both Nuclear Power Companies for its efficiency and high capacity. This allows for the largest lift for the project of 1100MT at a radius of 57m while still remaining below 85% of capacity.
