About Billie Jane Lampson...

Billie Jane Lampson was born in Irrigon, Oregon, was educated at Whitman College and in 1941 married Neil Lampson. Together, they raised three daughters, a son, and operated the Lampson family business. Billie Jane was instrumental in founding the family business with Neil, where she served as the company general manager for many years. Her strength, dedication, and strong moral values helped establish the business ethics that are still in practice today.

Billie Jane Lampson was a woman who was not only involved in the family business, but in the community as well. She served on the board for Kennewick General Hospital, was the first charter President of the L.G. Spaulding Childrens' Orthopedic Guild, served on the Board of Directors for United Way, Chapter Chairman of the Red Cross, Chairman and Executive President for Girl Scouts, served on the board of the Tri-City Cancer Center and was made a lifetime honorary board member, and in 1992 Billie Jane, Neil, and their son Bill, were named Tri-Citians of the year, the community's most prestigious honor.
